Thanks for the informative article on the most overlooked topic on writing, clear writing. Sure, it does not come without having a clear thinking.

I definitely agree that clear thinking comes through clear purpose, avoidance of distraction, and willing to improve one’s writing flow by reading wide variety of books.

I find I write the best when I write about topics that I am passionate about. There’s nothing quite like writing with emotion to fully engage your reader.

i think both are good. clarity. and confusing prose.
(if it’s got some aesthetic or reasonable structure to it)
but ~ for the most part ~ college, day to day communication ~ yes. clarity and efficiency ~ ~ :)~
i remember realizing i wanted to sloganize everything i said. it’s true, i would babble at my regular chat room and one day i realized how random and pointless a lot of it was. like this comment !
