Following Chopra’s 7 Laws will lead to a more peaceful life. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee of the wealth and fulfillment that he promises. The universe doesn’t respond to our intentions like he says. Many have spent thousands of dollars on books and seminars on the law of attraction only to find their dreams unfulfilled. I know all the arguments. They all imply that you didn’t do it right. Reality isn’t like that. There is real suffering and misery out there and many of these writers cash in on false hope. Call me unenlightened. I’d rather be unenlightened than insensitive. Having said all that, the 7 laws are sound advise as long as the reader takes the implications with a grain of salt.

I love all the comments from people. I once spent some months in a state of enlightenment, so I very well understand what you are saying. Most of the commenters just simply don’t get it. Money-making business because in the West there is a huge market because people are lonely, depressed, frustrated due to family breakdown and/or decaying family values and liberation to the extent of waywardness. Personal development coaches like Chopra is making a huge business. He was consultant to Hollywood film stars (especially women) on how to stay young when Chopra himself looks aged at 60 plus.
